Ministry: Bulgaria will continue to stand by Ukraine
Sofia, February 24 (Hibya) – The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Bulgaria will continue to stand by Ukraine in support of its sovereignty, Europe’s security, and the universal principles of the United Nations Charter.
In a statement, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “On the fourth anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine, Bulgaria reaffirms that 2026 must be the year in which the war ends and a just, lasting, reliable, and international law-compliant peace is restored.”
The statement added that until this goal is achieved and justice prevails, Bulgaria will continue to stand by Ukraine in support of its sovereignty, Europe’s security, and the universal principles of the United Nations Charter.
