Metsola: We are accelerating simplification in the chemicals sector
Brussels, 17 June (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that they have signed a new agreement that will reduce bureaucracy in the chemicals sector and save over €350 million annually.
Metsola said the agreement will reduce bureaucratic procedures in the chemicals sector and deliver more than €350 million in annual savings.
She noted that the regulation will boost companies’ innovation and investment capacity, adding: “Companies will spend less time and money on administrative requirements related to chemical labelling, packaging and cosmetic products, and will be able to focus more on production, innovation and investment.”
