Merz: We are taking our security into our own hands
Berlin, Jan. 30 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that with the Procurement Acceleration Act they are ensuring that soldiers obtain what they need and that they are taking their security into their own hands.
Chancellor Merz stressed that defense capabilities cannot be postponed, saying: “With the Procurement Acceleration Act, we are ensuring that our soldiers get what they need. We are taking our security into our own hands.”
Noting that the number of unemployed exceeding three million is an alarm signal, Merz added: “The same applies to company bankruptcies. We have already adopted many support measures for the economy, but this is not yet sufficient. Economic recovery must be the central issue of this year.”
