Meloni: State tools in migration management are being strengthened
Rome, 17 June (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the final approval of the Return Decree and regulations on assisted voluntary returns.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that this approval marks a new step toward strengthening the state’s tools for managing migration flows.
She emphasized that the goal is greater seriousness, order and effectiveness, and that migration should be managed through clear rules and concrete instruments.
Meloni said the government will continue its work on migration management with determination.
