Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Following UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s decision to leave Downing Street, Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy issued a statement focusing on Starmer’s political career, the transformation of the Labour Party, and the achievements of his government.

Stating that he has known Starmer for many years and has always admired his principled stance, Lammy said: “I have known Keir since his days as a lawyer. Then, as now, he was a man of principle, and throughout his career he acted with a deep sense of public service and duty to this country. He transformed the Labour Party, rooted out antisemitism, restored trust, and made our party electable again. He won a historic mandate to change Britain for the better and, most importantly, he delivered on that promise.”

Referring to the reforms implemented and achievements secured during Starmer’s time in office, Lammy stated: “Under Keir’s leadership, this Labour government restored stability to our economy, reduced NHS waiting lists, improved tenants’ rights, began fixing the crisis we inherited in our courts and prisons, reduced small boat crossings, protected young people online, lifted half a million children out of poverty, and restored Britain’s standing in the world.”

Highlighting the United Kingdom’s international position and Starmer’s legacy, Lammy concluded: “He put Britain back at the heart of Europe, stood firmly with Ukraine, and rebuilt our relationships with allies. Change was promised, change was fought for, and change was delivered. That is Keir Starmer’s legacy, and I am incredibly proud to have played a part in it.”
