Katz: We are establishing security zones in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza
Tel Aviv, October 22 (Hibya) - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz criticized Gadi Eisenkot for advocating withdrawal from the security zone in Lebanon, stating that Israel is pursuing a security policy aimed at protecting Israeli communities through security zones in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz alleged that Gadi Eisenkot, despite speaking about security responsibility, was prepared to accept the withdrawal of the Israeli military from the security zone in Lebanon. Katz argued that such a move would allow Hezbollah to return to the border and expose communities in northern Israel to serious threats.
Katz stated that, together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, they are implementing a new security policy aimed at protecting Israeli communities through security zones in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. Noting that the Israeli military is implementing this policy with determination, Katz said Eisenkot should explain the truth to the public, particularly residents of northern Israel.
