Kallas: Providing multi-year funding for Ukraine is absolutely essential
Brussels, 8 December (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas made a statement regarding the nature of support given to Ukraine.
Kallas, the EU High Representative and Commission Vice-President, made remarks concerning support for Ukraine.
She said, “Providing Ukraine with the resources it needs to defend itself does not prolong the war; on the contrary, it may help bring it to an end.”
Thanking Polish Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski, Kallas added, “Thank you for bringing together the foreign ministers of the Baltic Sea States Council.”
She concluded her remarks by stating, “In December, securing multi-year funding for Ukraine is absolutely essential.”
