Kallas: Hate and violence have no place in our societies
Brussels, July 26 (Hibya) - European Commission Executive Vice-President Kaja Kallas issued a statement regarding the attack on the Pride march held in Berlin.
In a post on social media, Kallas condemned the attack, stating that diversity and tolerance are among the fundamental pillars of democracies.
Kallas said the attack on the Berlin Pride march was an attack on free and open societies, adding, "Those who resort to violence, hate, and intolerance will never succeed."
Expressing support for those affected by the attack and for those who lost loved ones, Kallas said, "Our thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and everyone affected."
