Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Marmorstein, spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the ICC Appeals Chamber’s decision denying Israel’s right to prior notification.

Marmorstein emphasized that the decision was adopted by a narrow majority and runs counter to the principle of complementarity, particularly with regard to democratic states that have independent and robust judicial systems.

The spokesperson said the ruling is an example of the ICC’s politicization and its insensitivity to the sovereign rights of non-party states. Marmorstein added that the court also neglected its obligations under the Rome Statute, calling this “politics carried out under the guise of international law.”
