Eight killed in new U.S. attacks on vessels
Washington, December 16 (Hibya) – The United States carried out three new attacks on vessels alleged to be transporting drugs. It was reported that a total of eight people were killed in the attacks.
According to a statement by the U.S. military posted on X, the attacks took place on Monday in international waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean.
In recent months, the United States has repeatedly targeted boats in the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea that it claims were involved in drug trafficking.
It is estimated that more than 90 people have been killed in these attacks, which have drawn sharp criticism from various groups, including lawyers and former military personnel.
