Guterres congratulates Martin Azia Sodea
New York, 10 December (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a congratulatory message for Chief Martin Azia Sodea, winner of the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award.
The winners of this year’s UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award have been announced.
UN Secretary-General Guterres congratulated Chief Martin Azia Sodea, this year’s recipient of the UNHCR Nansen Award.
Guterres stated that Sodea and his community have demonstrated exemplary leadership by welcoming refugees and enabling them to sustain their own livelihoods, adding: “Their example is an inspiration to all of us.”
