Dar receives Iranian Ambassador Moghaddam
Islamabad, February 7 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishak Dar received Iranian Ambassador Raza Amiri Moghaddam.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishak Dar, met with Iranian Ambassador Raza Amiri Moghaddam.
The main items on the agenda were the terrorist attack in Islamabad and the functioning of bilateral institutional mechanisms.
Ambassador Moghaddam conveyed condolences over the tragic explosion at an Imamgah in Islamabad, while Deputy Prime Minister Dar strongly condemned the attack.
Dar reiterated “Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”
The meeting also reviewed sectoral cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador Moghaddam briefed on progress achieved through bilateral institutional mechanisms to enhance cooperation in various fields.
