Carney: We have launched investment talks between Canada and South Africa
Johannesburg, 23 November (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that the G20 Summit was successful and announced the launch of negotiations on an investment protection agreement between Canada and South Africa.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney congratulated South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on successfully hosting the continent’s first G20 Summit. Carney said, “We have begun negotiations on an investment protection agreement to strengthen trade between the two countries and create more opportunities for Canadians and South Africans.”
