Brazilian President Lula on an official visit to Mozambique
Maputo, 23 November (Hibya) – Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva stated that he is visiting Mozambique “within the framework of 50 years of bilateral relations.” Lula will meet Mozambican President Daniel Chapo and business leaders.
President Lula made an official working visit to Maputo at the invitation of Mozambican President Chapo. This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Lula’s agenda includes a meeting focused on deepening bilateral relations and discussions with Mozambican and Brazilian businesspeople. He also announced that he will be honored with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by Maputo Pedagogical University.
