Berendsen: Freedom of navigation must be restored
Amsterdam, September 23 (Hibya)-Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said Russia's attacks in the Black Sea were preventing Ukrainian grain from reaching global markets, adding that freedom of navigation must be restored so that food can reach those who need it.
Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen commented on developments in the Black Sea at an event held with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and other partners.
In a post on his social media account, Berendsen said: "Russia's attacks in the Black Sea are preventing Ukrainian grain from reaching global markets."
Stating that they condemned attacks on ports and ships, Berendsen said: "Freedom of navigation must be restored so that food can reach those who need it."
