Albares: With Habermas’ passing, Europe has lost a strong voice
Madrid, March 14 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, issued a message regarding the death of philosopher Jürgen Habermas.
Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Albares stated that with the loss of Jürgen Habermas, Europe has also lost a strong voice in favor of a determined Europe.
Emphasizing that Habermas’ ideas will continue to guide Europe, Albares said, "At a critical time for Europe, the voice that defended the struggle for a federal Europe and upheld reason and democracy against force and barbarism will continue to guide our steps."
