Referring to uncertainties in global markets and supply chain processes, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese outlined the efforts being made to protect citizens from negative impacts.

Stating that he has been holding high-level talks to ensure energy security, Albanese said: “We are working hard to ensure fuel supply for Australians. Today I met with Shell’s Global President to discuss how we can help the sector purchase more fuel and ensure more fuel reaches Australia.”

Emphasizing the measures taken against global instability, Albanese concluded: “Things are uncertain around the world, but we are doing everything we can to protect Australians from the worst-case scenarios.”
