Al Thani and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister discuss regional developments
Doha, July 29 (Hibya) - Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. The talks also focused on diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen regional security.
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani discussed regional developments and bilateral relations with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the phone conversation between the two ministers covered diplomatic initiatives, coordination efforts aimed at reducing tensions, and measures to strengthen regional security.
Al Thani stressed that all parties should pursue dialogue and diplomacy, highlighting the importance of implementing the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and preserving the gains achieved in recent months to safeguard regional security.
Al Thani reaffirmed Qatar's support for efforts to reduce tensions, stating that the country would continue backing initiatives aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement capable of establishing lasting peace in the region.
