In a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, it was noted that Russia had carried out hundreds of attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, including artillery and drone strikes.

The statement reported that houses, shops, apartment buildings, cars, and civilian infrastructure were damaged. It continued:

"Late in the evening, an FAB bomb fell on a residential area. Unfortunately, five people lost their lives. Five others, including a 17-year-old teenager, are in the hospital, and one is in critical condition. Russia will not stop on its own. Only strong pressure can halt its aggression."
