Prevot held a meeting with Sokhonn
Brussels, 21 November (Hibya) – Belgium’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation, Maxime Prevot, met with Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot announced that he held a meeting with Prak Sokhonn, Cambodia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Prevot stated: “We agreed to strengthen our diplomatic relations, particularly through the political consultations to be held in 2026 in Brussels, the swift signing of the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, and the development of our bilateral trade.”
He added that they also discussed the situation in Southeast Asia, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and the search for a path toward lasting peaceful relations.
