Sybiha hosted EU Foreign Affairs Chief Kallas on Europe Day
Kyiv, May 9 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha hosted EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas and European foreign ministers on Europe Day.
Sybiha stated that this meeting reflects Ukraine’s key role in defending European freedom and values.
He said: “We began our visit at the Field of Mars in Lychakiv Cemetery, where we paid tribute to Ukrainian heroes who sacrificed their lives defending Ukraine against Russian aggression. During Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal’s meeting with Kaja Kallas, we discussed joint steps to strengthen Ukraine, increase pressure on Russia, and advance Ukraine’s EU accession process.”
