Spajic: A working group has been decided in Montenegro’s EU accession process
Podgorica, 17 December (Hibya) - Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajic announced that the Council of the European Union (EU) and member states have decided to establish a working group to prepare the agreement regarding Montenegro’s accession to the Union.
Montenegro’s Prime Minister Spajic said that at yesterday’s meeting, the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and member states decided to set up a working group in order to prepare the Agreement on Montenegro’s accession to the European Union.
Spajic stated that closing a record number of chapters is an important and tangible source of motivation for both the EU Council and Montenegro, adding that this development will enable the country to enter the final stage of its EU integration process in a strong manner.
