Saar underscores strengthening ties with Paraguay and Czechia
Jerusalem, December 15 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar emphasized that friendly relations with Paraguay and Czechia will be strengthened. Saar thanked Paraguay’s parliament for adopting the definition of antisemitism and congratulated Czechia’s new government and foreign minister appointments.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar expressed his satisfaction at meeting the Speaker of Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies, Raul Latorre, in Israel, thanking him and the parliament for deciding to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism as part of efforts to combat antisemitism.
Saar stated that efforts to strengthen relations will continue and that diplomatic ties with Paraguay will be further deepened.
Referring also to relations with Czechia, Saar congratulated Andrej Babis on forming the new government and Petr Macinka on his appointment as foreign minister, noting that Israel–Czechia relations will be strengthened in all areas and expressing appreciation for Czechia’s long-standing friendship.
