Private medical and dental education discussed in Pakistan
Islamabad, December 18 (Hibya) – Issues raised by private medical and dental institutions were discussed under the chairmanship of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Dar, chaired a committee meeting at which the issues raised by the Pakistan Association of Medical and Dental Institutions (PAMI) were discussed.
During the meeting, Dar emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring high-quality medical and dental education, implementing fair and transparent tuition fees, strengthening the regulatory framework, and training competent health professionals capable of addressing the country’s healthcare needs and future challenges.
The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Federal Health Minister, the Deputy Finance Minister, the Health Adviser to the Chief Minister of Punjab, as well as representatives of relevant institutions and stakeholders, including the Ministry of NHSR&C, PM&DC and PAMI.
