Orban: Seizing Russian assets is a declaration of war
Budapest, December 18 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he opposes the seizure of Russian assets and their transfer to Ukraine.
Commenting on the seizure of Russian assets to be transferred to Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban said, “Financing Ukraine by confiscating Russian assets amounts to a declaration of war.”
Orban added, “Taking money from one side and giving it to the other drags the European Union into the conflict. This should not happen.” He also noted that he is not the only one who shares this view.
