Luxon: We’ve started trade negotiations with India
Wellington, May 9 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced this week that they have begun trade negotiations with India to grow both economies.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated that India is an extremely important country for New Zealand’s prosperity, security, and society.
Highlighting that India offers great economic opportunity for New Zealanders, Luxon said: “This week we’ve started trade negotiations with India to grow both our economies. When we do that, we create jobs, raise wages, and get more money into people’s pockets — I’m completely focused on this to help you deal with the cost of living. It was great to reflect on that and my trip to India at this morning’s India–New Zealand Business Council Summit.”
