Lipavski: Russia is not interested in peace, we must increase support for Ukraine
Prague, September 20 (Hibya) – Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavski stated that Russia’s attacks on Ukraine target civilians and show no intention toward peace, calling on the international community to strengthen its support for Ukraine.
Lipavski emphasized that Russia’s attacks aim primarily to destroy Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, saying: “The ongoing Russian attacks aim to destroy civilian infrastructure and leave people in darkness and cold. Every day, Russia proves it has no interest in peace.”
Highlighting the need to increase support for Ukraine, Lipavski also called for tightening sanctions against Russia. He said: “This is why we must increase our support for Ukraine and raise pressure on Russia through sanctions.”
