Dutch Prime Minister Schoof thanks entrepreneurs
Amsterdam, 21 November (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof published a message of appreciation on the occasion of Entrepreneurs’ Day, highlighting the importance of more than 1.5 million entrepreneurs to the country’s economy and social life.
In his message, Schoof emphasized that entrepreneurs not only create employment by providing products and services, but also form a strong and essential part of society. He noted that entrepreneurs support local sports clubs, light up streets and neighborhoods, and show heartfelt care for customers they have known for many years.
During his meetings, Prime Minister Schoof spoke with Jack van Guilik, owner of a large meat processing business in the east of the country; Selma Özkan, co-founder and director of an organization in the childcare sector; and Claudi Groothuis, an entrepreneur in real estate development.
Prime Minister Schoof thanked all entrepreneurs, stating that their courage and determination add value to the country.
