Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Radman visited Washington
Washington DC, December 4 (Hibya) – Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, concluded his Washington visit with a series of high-level meetings aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership with the United States.
Minister Radman visited Washington to engage in critical talks focused on enhancing the strategic partnership between Croatia and the United States. He completed the visit with several high-level meetings. The main agenda items included Croatia’s indispensable role in Europe’s energy security and the deepening of bilateral economic relations.
In his meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy James P. Danly, Radman presented Croatia’s LNG infrastructure and pipeline network as a pillar of European and transatlantic energy security.
During discussions with EximBankUS Executive Director JJ Jovanovic, he explored investment and trade opportunities, particularly within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative covering Central and Eastern Europe.
Radman also met with U.S. Trade Advisor Jeff Goettman, reiterating Croatia’s desire to advance the U.S.-Croatia Double Taxation Agreement and accelerate the OECD membership process.
In talks with Congressman Dave Joyce, Radman outlined Croatia’s role as a regional energy and security hub and examined opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the energy and defense sectors.
