Yermak met with Mathernova
Kyiv, November 13 (Hibya) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Mathernova, to discuss the front line, the energy sector, and the issue of the “reparation credit.”
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova. Yermak noted that the meeting addressed the most important issues for Ukraine, saying: “We discussed the situation on the front line, the protection and reconstruction of our energy sector, and the topic of the ‘reparation credit,’ which is planned to be financed through income from frozen Russian assets.”
Yermak also stated that anti-corruption efforts and several important recent cases were discussed at the meeting. He added that Ambassador Mathernova appreciated the recent statements and actions of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian government.
The meeting also touched on Ukraine’s progress in its integration process with the European Union. Yermak highlighted the European Commission’s latest positive report on the country, saying: “We are grateful for the EU’s steadfast support on this path. Ambassador Mathernova’s personal contribution is also of great importance.”
