Sybiha: We appreciate Canada’s sanctions against Russia
Ottawa, November 12 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a bilateral meeting with Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand as part of the G7 meetings.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand during the G7 meetings for bilateral discussions.
The meeting focused on peace efforts, the situation on the battlefield, and Ukraine’s continued determination to pursue reforms and fight corruption.
Sybiha expressed appreciation for Canada’s leadership within the G7, its work on the PURL initiative, its leading role in the coalition for the return of Ukrainian children, and the recent $70 million energy assistance package. He stated: “Our strong bond is built upon the relationship between our peoples. I especially thank all Ukrainian communities in Canada for their strong voices and support for Ukraine.”
