Rubio: The U.S. is determined to strengthen Ukraine’s defense
Washington, November 12 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and his G7 counterparts to discuss strengthening Ukraine’s defense and ending the conflict.
U.S. Secretary of State Rubio held a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha and the foreign ministers of the G7 countries. The discussions focused on ways to enhance Ukraine’s defense capacity and bring an end to the bloody conflict.
In his statement, Rubio said: “The United States, together with our partners, remains steadfast in encouraging Russia to pursue diplomacy and in continuing efforts to achieve a lasting and sustainable peace through direct dialogue with Ukraine.”
Secretary Rubio emphasized the U.S. commitment to maintaining support for Ukraine and to resolving the conflict through diplomatic means.
