Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov exchanged views on current regional and international developments during their phone conversation.

They discussed the state of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their determination to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Araghchi expressed concern over recent clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of constructive cooperation among regional countries to maintain peace and stability. He also highlighted the significance of ongoing consultations between Iran, Russia, and other regional partners.

The Iranian minister also raised the initiatives of the U.S. and some European countries in the UN Security Council regarding Palestine, stating that proposals for international trusteeship over Gaza and Palestine violate the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

Lavrov stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation among regional countries for collective security and confirmed Moscow’s readiness to continue bilateral and regional consultations.

The ministers also discussed the upcoming meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, underlining the need for continued cooperation between Iran and the Agency and coordination among Tehran, Moscow, and Beijing.
