Fiala commemorates former Foreign Minister Schwarzenberg
Prague, November 12 (Hibya) – Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala commemorated former Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg on the second anniversary of his passing.
In a post on social media, Fiala noted that his last meeting with Schwarzenberg took place in the hospital, saying, “Despite his poor health, he remained interested in current affairs, especially foreign policy issues. At that time, we discussed the situation in Israel.”
Prime Minister Fiala emphasized that Karel Schwarzenberg enriched Czech politics with his knowledge, wisdom, and distinctive sense of humor, stating, “He was a great personality of the Czech Republic. We remember him with gratitude and respect.”
