Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that together with Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, he co-chaired the 2nd China-Pakistan Political Parties Forum and the 4th meeting of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Political Parties Joint Consultation Mechanism in Beijing.

Dar stated that representatives from 12 political parties in Pakistan attended the meeting along with Pakistan’s Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal. Discussions focused on strengthening strategic mutual trust, the CPEC 2.0 process, economic cooperation, and enhancing people-to-people relations.

The statement emphasized the determination to further strengthen the “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership” between Pakistan and China within the framework of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
