Cuban President Bermudez: Cuba is not alone
Havana, May 24 (Hibya) - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez criticized the United States’ “maximum pressure” policies against Cuba. Diaz-Canel argued that the sanctions imposed on the Cuban people amount to collective punishment and thanked the international community for its support.
Diaz-Canel Bermudez stated that many countries and groups have shown solidarity with Cuba and argued that the sanctions imposed on the Cuban people amount to “collective punishment”.
Bermudez also claimed that the “maximum pressure” policy advocated by certain circles in the United States aims to create the perception of a collapse in Cuba and legitimize a possible intervention.
Stating that Cuba is not alone, Diaz-Canel Bermudez thanked the international community for its messages of solidarity.
