Budrys: Lukashenka enabled Russia’s aggression and must be held accountable
Vilnius, November 12 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys called for Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenka to be held responsible for the aggression and crimes committed against Ukraine.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys made remarks about Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka, emphasizing that Lukashenka enabled the aggression by allowing Russia to use Belarusian territory and airspace.
In his statement, the minister said:
“Lukashenka made aggression possible by giving Russia access to Belarusian territory and airspace. He must be held accountable for the crime of aggression and all crimes committed against Ukraine.”
Budrys stressed that the international community must ensure Lukashenka is brought to justice and that accountability is pursued.
